In late August 2011 I undertook a challenge to become the first person to sleep at each of the 6 extreme points of Great Britain, solo, on 6 consecutive nights. I started this at Lands End and completed it John O’Groats thus completing an End to Ender via the six extreme points. My first night was at Lizard Point on 25/26 August 2011.

My might on the rocks at Lizard Point saw a major change in my bivy bag technique. Due to the wind coming off the sea I was unable to sleep on my mattress. So for the first time I slept with my mattress inside my bivy.
