The tripoint of Buckinghamshire – Hertfordshire – Middlesex is at a fork on the River Colne.
NB:Due to such dense vegetation (my bivy bag is on a bed of nettles) the location seen in the photo below is within a couple of hundred metres either way of the actual tripoint.
